Care begins during our first consultation, when we will..
- Help you decide on what type of hair works best for you
- Look at the ease and comfort factors of various wig styles
- Discuss the differences between human and synthetic hair
- Explore the Alternatives in regard to color, length and style
- Review styling options, wig care, do's & don'ts
Before you leave, you will receive a detailed reference guide that explains everything we have just discussed. This guide also provides a list of all products you will receive, from shampooing through being ready to walk out the door. We are committed to making this transition as seamless as possible.
Throughout your care, if you are hospitalized but able to receive visitors, we can also come to you rather than having you wait until you are strong enough to visit the salon. We make hospital calls throughout Chicago (and Chicago suburbs) on an as-needed basis.
If you already have a wig but need help caring for it, you can drop it off with us for adjustments, styling or alteration. For instance, we can wash, curl, smooth or straighten your wig, add hair to your wig, cut or style it differently, or adjust the fit.
Things To Consider
Life Style: A great wig can simplify daily life, making it faster and easier to prepare for work or social engagements ~ and with less focus on your hair, you have more time to focus on other areas of your life.
Hair Style: Some women are more comfortable with a wig that matches their own hair as closely as possible. Others find that a totally new style helps them feel more confident and at ease.
Comfort: An absolute must. A comfortable wig is one that is fitted correctly and of highest quality both inside and out.
